A brief introduction to my work, interests and tools.
Viesturs Trumars
I am interested in digital illustration, character design, photography and 2000s internet aesthetics. Beyond visual art, I follow history and internet history; in fiction I am most drawn to science fiction, horror and comedy.
I work mainly in Krita and also use Photoshop and Illustrator. My next technical goal is to learn Blender, especially for combining 2D and 3D work.
What I want from my studies
I want to develop composition, design thinking, technical skills and the ability to turn an idea into a finished visual work.
